From the beginning, I saw this figure as an improvement over a figure of mine everyone seemed to love, Sister Angelique from the Anima RPG. I thought this figure was a nice blend of the simplicity of a witches robes with the detail of all the crystals and jewelry.
There was some inherent difficulties in this figure, the detail is not as well defined as the figures from larger companies, and I kept finding more mold lines as I worked. The right arm does not join real well with the figure either. Even though these quality issues added work to the figure, the dynamic stances of the Magnificent Egos line is worth noting.
In the end, I stuck pretty much with the original figure and painting scheme. I did add the freehand patterns on the inside of the robes as part of my effort to do more and more freehand work.
The base was carved out of sheet styrene.
